Eli and Shannon Silver moved to Manalapan, NJ and established Silver Forge Farm in December of 2005. Shannon holds an animal science degree as well as a masters in education from Cornell University and has been a biology and environmental science teacher in the Freehold Regional High School District since 2003. Eli is a Rutgers alumnus, a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and works for the State of NJ . We live on the farm with our three daughters, Georgia, Carolina and Virginia. Our older girls are pursuing science and arts programs at Rutgers and Drexel and Virginia is a championship winning horseback rider. Silver Forge Farm is also home to flock of Shetland Sheep, chickens, a bossy goose, ducks, farm cats, loyal pups and a Shetland Pony named Benito.
